Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-06
1. Who we are
Pintle is provided by Pintle (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your shop’s use of the service. By using it you agree to them on behalf of your business.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the people you give access to, for keeping their logins secure, and for removing access when someone leaves. You must tell us promptly about any unauthorized use you become aware of.
3. Your data is yours
You own the data you put into the service: customers, units, repair orders, parts, payroll and everything else. We use it only to provide and support the service for you. If you cancel, we will provide an export of your data on request for 30 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted from the live system and removed from backups on their normal rotation.
4. Texting, calls and recordings
If you use texting, phone integration or call recording, you are responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires from the people you text or record, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state call-recording laws, and for honoring opt-outs.
5. AI features
Some features use AI models to summarize or propose content (for example, an estimate from an inspection). Those outputs are suggestions for a person to review. You are responsible for what you send to customers or bill.
6. Fees
Fees are as quoted for your plan and billed per location. Usage-based charges (such as text message volume) are billed as described in your order. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to break the law, send spam, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to access another shop’s data or disrupt the service.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and your data backed up, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We may update the service and these terms; we will notify you of material changes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at the end of any billing period. We may suspend or end access for non-payment or a serious breach of these terms, with notice where practical.
